Campania is a very fertile region of southern Italy, the Amalfi Coast, and the ruins of Pompeii and Paestum. Lying on the Tyrrhenian Sea in a sweeping curve between the mouth of the Garigliano and the Gulf of Policastro, Campania has the second highest poulation of all the Italian regions, Campania is mainly a maritime region linking South Italy with the central-northern regions.

The best Mozzarella is made in Campania, as well as arguably the best pizza and coffee (although the other Italian regions may dispute that!). Campania should be on every Italy travellers place to visit list.
